Damian Lastoria was an exceptional hockey player who loved competing at a high level as much as he loved spending time with his teammates. Unfortunately he was diagnosed with terminal cancer at age 32.

Daim decided to continue playing hockey. He won scoring titles and championships while receiving intense medical treatment. He only stopped playing once the pain became too much to bear.

Daim passed away at age 35. He left behind his wife Shannon, step-daughter Kayle, his family and the friends and teammates who will never forget him.

This website was created to celebrate his life. Please take a few minutes to watch the documentary A PORTRAIT OF DAMIAN about his passion for hockey and the impact he had on his teammates.

We've also included links to several cancer and hockey charities for those who might want to donate in Damian's memory. Please use the hashtag #doit4daim and check back occasionally for updates on this initiative.
